Over my Shoulder

by Macy Johnson

“You will keep in perfect peace him whose mind is steadfast,

because he trusts in you.”

(Isaiah 26:3 NIV)

Dressed for Success

by Macy Johnson

“Consider how the lilies grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you, not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these.”

Floaters

by Macy Johnson

“You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.”

(Matthew 7:5 NIV)

Little black specks drift in and out of my peripheral vision. My floaters sometimes startle me like spiders creeping up out of the corner of my eye.
